Follow on Google News | Puxton Park takes the hassle out of celebrating the Royal WeddingOne of the South West’s most popular family attractions is organising a street party so that parents with children can celebrate the Royal Wedding and make the most of the extra bank holiday, hassle free.
By: Kayleigh Sydenham Visitors will be able to watch all the pomp and ceremony taking place in London, on a giant screen while enjoying a host of activities and entertainment synonymous with Royal occasions. A Cinderella style carriage will take aspiring princesses on trips around the park while families will be able to take their own royal family photo thanks to a specially made royal wedding façade. There will also be lines of tables decorated in union flags and bunting to make the occasion truly colourful and where families will be able to enjoy their picnic. Alaistair Mead MD of Puxton Park said: “We want to make this a day to remember and are looking forward to welcoming people from across the region. Royal weddings don’t come around that often and it’s going to be a fantastic celebration. “There’s always so much to organise for any wedding occasion so we thought why not take away the hassle for those thinking of doing something themselves. “Those with younger children will be able to keep them entertained thanks to all the fantastic attractions we have here at Puxton Park and grown ups and parents won’t miss a thing thanks to the big screen we’ll have in place. “We really want people to get into the spirit of the occasion and will give half price entry to any boys or girls dressed as a prince or princess. There will also be a chance to win a party for 10 children worth £150 and a colouring competition to win a family pass.” Set in the beautiful Somerset countryside the 50-acre family adventure park is one of the largest visitor attractions in the south west. Entry for adults is only £5.00 while for children it will cost £6.70 on this day only. For further information please contact www.puxton.co.uk or call T: 01934 523500 End
