Solar Innovations, Inc. Introduces New Monster Wall System

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 16, 2011 - Pine Grove, PA, March 15, 2011 - Solar Innovations, Inc., a custom manufacturer of residential and commercial folding, sliding, and stacking walls, doors, windows, and screens; greenhouses; conservatories; sunrooms; and skylights; has released the new SI30000 Monster Wall System.

Folding glass walls have been a signature product for Solar Innovations® since their introduction to the industry in 1998.  The unique qualities Solar Innovations, Inc.’s folding glass walls currently possess have made them an industry leader, but Solar looks to exceed expectations with the release of the new SI30000 Monster  Wall System.  At first glance, the new system shares its appearance with the previous SI3000 system.  The difference is Solar Innovations, Inc.’s ability to manufacture even larger panels that operate with greater ease and the ability to utilize this system for several functions: folding, sliding, and stacking.  The SI30000 Monster Wall System  will accommodate panels up to (4 foot by 12 foot); larger panels may be possible depending upon engineering criteria.

The enhancements in the SI30000 panel are all within the frame, which is now three inches deep and uses dual wheel trolleys. The upgraded trolleys have wheels on both sides, as opposed to the previous system, allowing for the operation of heavier panels.  The new trolley and dual wheel designs make each panel feel significantly lighter than its actual weight, despite the panel’s size. The SI30000 Monster Wall System is exactly what the world wants, bigger panels that function with ease.
 
If a customer has an existing folding glass wall system and wants to add a new, larger unit to their house, Solar Innovations, Inc. has designed the SI30000 system’s head and sill to accommodate both the SI3000 and SI30000 panel frame.  The same sight lines can be maintained on all units, while accommodating the larger panels and additional weight.  The system can consist of any number of panels from two to twenty; it is all dependent on the customer’s preference.  The folding glass wall system is available in in-swing or out-swing configurations, and with individual operable panels.  Another added benefit to this new system is the ability to create transoms, sidelites, and French or terrace doors from the SI30000 framework creating a seamless transition across the wall.  

Solar Innovations, Inc. currently has the largest impact certified folding doors at 3½ foot by 9½ foot and 3 foot by 10 foot.  During the third quarter of 2011, the system will be tested to meet Florida Impact certifications utilizing .090 innerlayer annealed laminated glazing. Testing is of great importance to Solar Innovations, Inc.; a third party is used to validate products and ensure customers that they are getting the highest quality Solar products.
