Born Sophia Harewood in 1977 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados, Sophia was encouraged by her great-grandmother; “I love what I do. Further, I believe as women we are seeking not only beauty in our fashion but also functionality and longevity.” Sophia’s collection, Emmaline, named after her beloved great-grandmother, features dresses in natural fibers infused with a blend of Caribbean memories and Texan colors.
