Easy Auscultation Expands Sound Builder for Heart Sounds

Sound Builder is a method of decomposing heart sounds into it key components: the first heart sound (S1), systole, the second heart sound (S2) and diastole/third/fourth heart sounds.  Students can learn complex heart sounds by beginning with S1, adding S2, then systolic sounds and then diastolic sounds.  
We now offer over 45 heart sound lessons with Sound Builder. Our lessons include audio recordings of simulated and actual patients, a virtual manikin, cardiac animation and dynamic waveform.  A course quiz is also available.
The Easy Auscultation web site has over 80 heart and lung sound lessons.  These multimedia lessons represent one of the most comprehensive sets of online auscultation materials available.  Each lesson can be viewed with a PC/Mac browser, iPad or iPhone.
