Region 2000 Technology Council Opens Registration and Nominations For 10th Annual Awards Night

Virginia's Region 2000 Technology Council has opened registration and nominations for their 10th Annual Awards Night. This year's gala will honor the best in the regional technology community. Renowned entrepreneur, Cameron Johnson to give keynote.

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Registration and nominations are now open for the 10th Annual Technology Awards Night celebration hosted by Virginia's Region 2000 Technology Council.

This year's gala theme will be 'Celebrating Ten Years of Technology' and will be honoring the Lynchburg region's most influential technology leaders, businesses and organizations. The Technology Council is inviting the community to submit nominations for the following awards: Innovator of the Year, Educator of the Year, Technology Company of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year. The evening will also feature keynote speaker and renowned entrepreneur Cameron Johnson who will be speaking on entrepreneurial values and paradigm shifts in business thinking. At only 25, Cameron Johnson is recognized as one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in the world, consults with Fortune 500 companies, and garners extensive media coverage from CNN, The New York Times, CNBC and hundreds of other outlets.

Awards Night will be held May 17, 2011 from 6-9 pm at the Holiday Inn on Main Street in Lynchburg, Virginia. Tickets are $60 per person and $50 each for parties of two or more. Special registration pricing is available for educators and full-time students for $25 each.
