By: Shriftman Media Attendees were from the full spectrum of Art, Fashion, Music and Entertainment including artist Anton S. Kandinsky, Mrs. Harry Belafonte, Sony's Adam Pollack,America's Next Top Model Keenyah Hill, Claudia Grimaldi, Karen Biehl and Caggie Silmonelli. Already covered by Noi.se magazine in their current issue with a follow up article due to come out in their next issue, Rusnak has also been interviewed and will appear in issues of Bomb Magazine, Cabinet Magazine and Monaco's Luxe Immo. Rusnak's emotional charge has been compared to that of famed photographer Jimmy De Sana with visuals of Francis Bacon. The discovery of a bound Christ figure triggered reactions of zealous indignation commonly associated with religious fervor, with some onlookers storming out the door. While the intent of such a provocative image was met with such expected ramifications, it has superseded its exploitative quality and has proven to be the most appreciated. It is the literalness of this imagery in contrast to Rusnak's stark, isolated spiritual imagery that has created such a torte atmosphere, exaggerating its emotional charge. This one particular image, titled Quieted Disfigurement, has managed to commandeer the entirety of the show, proving Christ's inherent strength over all things spiritual. Even the daunting" Theoretical Icon" that envelops and transports one to another realm of consciousness is no match for the simplicity of a 2,000 year old icon; a testament to the absoluteness of Faith. Duplicitous Icons' cathedral environment addresses faith and doubt and somehow miraculously becomes conclusive. End
