This communication boom has made children vulnerable and at risk in new ways that parents are only beginning to understand, such as cyber-bullying, sexting and over-sharing.  Katie LeClerc Greer will explain how parents can protect their children by creating clear rules for interacting online and how to adapt these guidelines as their children develop. The show will discuss the biggest challenges facing parents today to keep kids safe online and share tips to ensure their children’s privacy and, most importantly, safety.

Katie LeClerc Greer is an Internet safety expert traveling the country to speak on issues of technology and Internet safety education. Featured in both CNN and in Vanity Fair Magazine, Katie has presented to over 300 schools, organizations, and conferences (law enforcement and otherwise) in the past 5 years. Most recently, Katie has contracted with the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the United States Attorney Office (Burlington, VT) to create, deliver and manage outreach programs for the state of Vermont.
