Choosa.net launches Latin America's largest design crowdsourcing platform

Choosa.net just launched last week after running Guerra-Creativa.com in Beta release for 18 months. The creative design crowdsourcing platform is home to more than 14,000 of Latin America's top designers.

Choosa.net, ( http://www.choosa.net ) the largest Latin American creative crowdsourcing platform , launched into full production this week. During 18 months of beta release under the name Guerra Creativa, the platform has grown and evolved significantly. Key highlights regarding Choosa.net’s growth include: over 100,000 dollars in designers award payouts, more than 670 successful design contests, 89,000 design submissions, and a successful round of investment funding. With its new name and enhanced features, Choosa.net looks to compete in both Latin American and international design markets.

The design platform’s new name, Choosa.net, uses a play on the word ‘choice’ or ‘choose a,’ in order to emphasize the choices available through the platform. Through online design contests hosted on the platform, small and medium-sized business owners have the power to ‘choose a’ design from numerous proposed submissions, the designers with whom to work, and the winning design that best represents his or her business.  Meanwhile, Latin America’s top designers can ‘choosa a’ design contest in which to compete in order to win the design contest awards, build an online reputation, and increase his or her access to international clients.

Regarding Choosa.net’s market position, Michael Widjaja stated, “We believe that Choosa.net’s strong Latin American designer community allows us to provide a great balance between top-rate creativity and competitive pricing for businesses that need design. While Choosa.net’s current focus aims to primarily target the Latin American market, the platform provides service in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.  Highlighted capabilities for platform’s most recent full-production release include: more design categories, improved usability, social media integrations, and multilingual customer support. Choosa.net’s tagline reads, ‘professional design for everyone,’ and the Choosa.net team believes that the platform’s new release provides the best possible experience for its users.
