McNeill Designs for Brighter Minds launches “ENGLISH is a funny language” site for teachers

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 11, 2011 - Wilmington, Delaware, March 11, 2011 –  Toy and game development firm McNeill Designs for Brighter Minds recently announced that it has launched the new site “ENGLISH is a funny language” at YBSforTeachers (dot) wordpress (dot) com. The new site, designed for teachers of English, language arts, and English as a Second Language (ESL) is designed a portal for valuable information on everything from the use of games in the classroom, to scholarships and grants for educators, to innovative instruction concepts and best practices.

“For years, we’ve consistently received a tremendous response from teachers regarding the use of our word game You’ve been Sentenced! in the classroom. This site will allow us to continue our dialogue with teachers around the world and learn more about how words can change the world.”

And in fact, McNeill Designs has already made a firm commitment to using words to change the world. Since 2005, McNeill Designs has donated a portion of the sales of the award-winning word game You’ve been Sentenced! to the literacy organization Success Won’t Wait. Success Won’t Wait is a not-for-profit organization that collects donations of new and gently used books and redistributes them throughout the US in numerous literacy programs. Since the non-profit was started in 2002, the groups has made over 250,000 books available throughout the US and abroad.
