Livingood Lab Services assists Businesses in becoming Drug Free Workplaces.....

Drug Free Workplace is a way for company's to save money on their worker's compensation insurance and a way to have a safe working environment. Many positive reductions can result from being a DFW.

March 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Livingood Lab Services, LLC assists businesses in becoming Drug Free Workplaces at no charge. Studies have shown that when a business becomes a Drug Free Workplace the benefits can been seen and experienced. There tends to be a reduction in absenteeism, a higher level of productivity, less conflicts with supervisors, and a decrease of on-the-job accidents and injuries. There are also studies that show worker's comp. claims and health claims are less when a company is a Drug Free Workplace. Not to mention, that in the state of Georgia, there is a 7 1/2% discount off a company's worker's comp. insurance when becoming a DFW.

Employers do not need to drug test their current employees unless there is reasonable suspicion or post accidents. However, once they become a Drug Free Workplace, they must then begin to drug test their in-coming employees from that point on. If there are DOT employees (those that carry a CDL) rules slightly vary and Livingood Lab Services can assist employers with expertise in these areas.

Owner, Tammy Livingood says, "Our clients enjoy our drug testing services because we lend expertise and efficiency in the drug testing process. We make sure our clients are aware of the least expensive drug testing scenarios in an effort to save them money and keep them in compliance with the drug testing rules."
