ITE Achieves One-Million-Unit Shipment of RF Integrated DVB-T Receiver Single Chip

March 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Taipei, Taiwan–ITE Tech. Inc (TAIEX: 3014), a Taiwan fabless semiconductor company specializing in digital TV solutions, today announces it has shipped more than one million units of RF integrated DVB-T receiver single chip- IT9130 series.

Thanks to its high performance and highly integrated design, IT9130 series has been adopted in a variety of applications, including set-top-boxes, digital media players (DMP), DVD-COMBOs with DVB-T DTT features, and PCTV USB dongle.

IT9130 series integrates ITE’s state-of-the-art COFDM demodulator and CMOS RF tuner into a single chip. It has also been field proven and extensively commercialized in most of Europe, Asia and Australia. To minimize external components and BOM cost, IT9130 series only requires one 3.3V power and one 12MHz crystal. No external SAW filter, balun, RF switch, load inductor, and LNA are required.

Within the series, IT9133 provides serial/parallel TS interface for stationary applications, and can be placed directly on-board with customer-proven 2-layer PCB. Another product, IT9135 featured USB2.0 connectivity, along with WHQL and USB-IF certified drivers for Windows 7/Vista/XP provide a turn-key solution for PCTV applications. Both products are in small 7x7 mm2 QFN packages.
