prettyamazing and complete and submit the entry form pursuant to the onscreen instructions. Entrant must supply an essay describing why she is “Pretty Amazing”, no greater than 1,000 characters, along with two photos of herself, alone, taken within the last six months (“entry”). Finalists/Winner Selection: All eligible entries received will be judged by a qualified panel consisting of Seventeen’s editors who will select a group of semi-finalists based on the following criteria: appearance (50%); passion (50%). In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entrants with the highest score in passion will be the winner. Selection of Finalists: On or about May 31, 2011, a judging panel consisting of editors and the Editor in Chief of Seventeen, a representative from Neutragena, and guest judge Miranda Cosgrove will select five (5) finalists based on the criteria above. The finalists will be flown to New York City for a photo shoot, a luncheon, and the opportunity to meet the Editor in Chief of Seventeen. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct interviews of potential finalists and to request additional photographs. Potential finalists do not respond within three (3) days of Sponsor’s request for an interview or additional photographs will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor also reserves the right to conduct background checks on potential finalists. Entrants must be available to participate in and attend media events and participate in a photo shoot, all to take place in New York City on dates to be scheduled in May 2011, in case they are selected as a finalist. Once chosen, finalists must confirm their willingness to participate in media events and in the photo shoot with details of travel arrangements on or before June 7, 2011, otherwise an alternate finalist will be selected. Selection of Winner: On or about August 1, 2011, judges will then choose one (1) potential Grand Prize winner from the finalists to appear on a cover of a future issue of Seventeen based on the following criteria: photo shoot success (50%), passion (40%), and number of votes garnered through online voting process (10%). In the event of a tie, photo shoot success will determine the potential Grand Prize winner. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than five (5) finalists and/or not award the Grand Prize if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries. Limit one (1) vote per person/email address per day. Votes received from any person/email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Finalists are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Use of script, macro or any automated system to vote or with the intent to impair the integrity of the voting process is prohibited and all such votes will be void. By participating in the Promotion (as defined below), entrant (and, if an eligible minor, her parent or legal guardian) certifies that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, and does not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks or rights or privacy or publicity. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any entry that it believes contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these official rules or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Promotion. The decisions of the Sponsor and judges are final and binding on all matters relating to the Promotion. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”): Finalist Prizess (5): Five (5) finalists will each receive a trip for two (2) to New York City that includes round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest finalist’s residence, a four (4)-night hotel stay (single room, double occupancy) at a hotel of Sponsor’s choice, a luncheon and participation in a photo shoot. ARV: $4750.00 each. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Grand Prize (1): One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship from Neutrogena (awarded in the form of a check), and an opportunity to appear on a cover of Seventeen. ARV of Grand Prize: $10,000. If, for whatever reason, Sponsor is unable to have winner appear on a cover of Seventeen, no compensation or substitution will be provided, however remainder of prize package will be awarded and the Released Parties (as defined below) shall have no further obligation to such winner. Total ARV of All Prizes Available To Be Awarded: $33,750. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Sponsor reserves right to change dates. If any finalist is a minor, she must travel with a parent or legal guardian as her guest. Finalist and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. In the event that any finalist lives within 200 miles of New York City, then Sponsor reserves the right to arrange for alternate travel instead of air transportation. Guest must be of legal age of majority in her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18), and must sign a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent, on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including ground transportation, meals, souvenirs and gratuities are the sole responsibility of the finalists. Hotel accommodations are subject to availability and provided at Sponsor’s discretion. Blackout dates may apply. All travelers must possess valid travel documents prior to travel. Finalist must travel on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such finalist. Once scheduled, the itinerary cannot be altered. All details of photo shoots will be determined and arranged by Sponsor, including photographer, location, time and duration. In addition to the photographs taken by the photographer during the photo shoot, the photo shoot itself may be photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded by Sponsor, its partners and their representatives and designees (collectively, “Materials”)

The Materials will be owned by Sponsor, its partners and their representatives and designees (as applicable) and they will have the right to post, modify, edit, distribute, create derivatives works of, perform and otherwise use the Materials and all elements embodied therein, including, without limitation, any names and likenesses, in any and all media now or hereafter devised (including, but not limited to, on their respective websites and social media platforms), worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation or notification to, or permission from, winner or any third party. Sponsor will determine, in its sole discretion, which photographs will be posted for viewing by the general public for voting. If an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian must be present at all times during the photo shoot. Potential finalists (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) will be notified via phone, e-mail or postal mail, at Sponsor’s discretion, on or about 5/31/2011.
