Banksy artwork has sprung up all over LA!

March 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Numerous pieces of Banksy artwork have sprung up all over Los Angeles, winning the anonymous graffiti artist a host of famous fans.    

The elusive graffiti artist known only as ‘Banksy’ has been thought to have finally been caught on camera this week in the Los Angeles suburb, Santa Monica.  He was snapped spray painting an old container on the side of a busy roadway with the words 'This Looks A Bit Like An Elephant'.  This latest piece is the last in a long line of artistic images which have appeared all over the streets of Los Angeles.

The first piece of Banksy artwork, which appeared on a billboard lining Sunset Strip depicted Mickey Mouse drinking a cocktail and draping his arm around a model wearing a bikini.

The second Banksy artwork piece was of a child holding a machine gun loaded with brightly coloured wax crayons, standing amidst a sea of bright flowers. This appeared on the side of a clothes shop in the Westwood district.

The third piece of Banksy artwork to appear was of a dog urinating up a wall in Beverley Hills. And the final image sprung up on the side of a burnt out building on Sunset Boulevard which was of a picture of Charlie Brown smoking a cigarette and holding a petrol can.

The new pieces have won the artist a whole host of celebrity fans including Christina Aguilera, Kate Moss and the prime ministers wife Samantha Cameron. Cameron recently caused a wave of controversy when she gave the Obama’s a piece of Ben Eine canvas art, who is a graffiti artist friend of ‘Banksy’.
