New products from the diverse line up of innovative and eco-friendly APO Floors products will be showcased at this year’s environmentally responsive expo dubbed “Emerging Green Technologies and Design towards a Holistic Paradigm.” According to APO Floors Communication Manager Missy Castro, “The public will see at the expo a number of new designs and colors for our floor tiles and planks.” APO Floors’ well-known brands include Homogenous Resilient, which is being re-launched with the new brand name AVQT, Mimicri Luxury Resilient Floors and APO Realwood. We want to be always able to provide both our residential and industrial customers the quality, design and quantity they need.” Produced under rigid quality control and environmentally compliant procedures in its state-of the-art plant with a rated maximum annual capacity of 70 million square feet of tiles and sheet, APO Floors is capable of supplying huge quantities of up to 4.5 million square meters a year. The products are manufactured in conformity with the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM F - 1006 - 87); British Standards (BS 3260 - 1969 (83); Australian Standards (AS 1889 - 1976); and Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS 5705 - 1992). APO Floors’ maker, Puyat Flooring Products, Inc. (PFPI), is also an advocate of green building and is a major supporter of the Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC), the largest green building movement in the country. The company’s engineered wooden flooring line under the brand APO Realwood are sourced from a permanent forest in Surigao which was cited as a model for sustainable development by the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) and “Best Practice in Forest Management” by the UP College of Forestry and Natural Resources.
