TNS forms partnership with CEIBS, Emphasizes Collaboration and Knowledge Creation

TNS today formed a three-year, multifaceted partnership with CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). The partnership establishes a number of TNS-CEIBS initiatives to create knowledge, foster innovation and benefits for both sides.

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- World leading custom research company TNS today formed a three-year, multifaceted partnership with CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). The agreement was signed during a high-level signing ceremony attended by TNS Asia Pacific CEO Mr. Chris Riquier and CEIBS President Mr. Pedro Nueno. The partnership establishes a number of TNS-CEIBS initiatives to create knowledge, foster innovation and benefits for both sides.  

In his opening speech, CEIBS President Mr. Pedro Nueno remarked, “The school would not exist without strong support from corporate partners from the very beginning. The new partnership with TNS will become a pillar of the institution, helping us to keep our feet on the ground in the real world, and to understand how the business world is changing.”

The CEIBS-TNS partnership offers TNS with the full benefits of CEIBS campuses, students and research capabilities through its student projects, summer internships and access to the intellectual capital of professors.

Commenting on the partnership, TNS Asia Pacific CEO Chris Riquier said “TNS feels very privileged to enter into this partnership – a relationship that will focus not just in China but globally. Now that TNS places special emphasis on the technology, automotive and financial services sectors, the new partnership with CEIBS will help TNS to connect with CEIBS professors and alumni, as well as tap into its high calibre MBA graduates as TNS China plans to significantly expand its current employee roster in China of 600 employees.”

Thanking CEIBS for the “exciting opportunity to partner”, TNS China CEO Serene Wong added, “Since the time when TNS became the first foreign market research company to enter China in 1990, today, the company sees increasing demand from both international and domestic clients in China. Areas of special focus include tracking consumer trends in digital communication and new media, as well as succeeding in China’s 2nd and 3rd tier cities.” Ms Wong concluded by emphasizing her expectations for positive collaboration with CEIBS on a wide range of research projects and initiatives.
