March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Lead generators, affiliates and direct response marketers from all over the US, Canada, UK and South Africa exhibited their businesses while potential clients and business partners walked the floor building relationships; creating prospective business opportunities.

Many of the top players in the Healthcare industry were present for a panel discussion on DMEs and the future of lead generation.  Panellists included Jeff Hilton, Director of Marketing, Hoveround Corporation; Jordon Keltz, CEO, Seniors for Living; David Siegel, COO, Nationwide Medical; Keith Glatzer, VP of Marketing, Simplex Healthcare; and moderator, Phil Friedman, President and CEO, Ward Media.

Zeeshan Hayat, CEO of Prizm Media, an exhibitor and important player in the health lead generation vertical, addressed the panel regarding the controversial competitive bidding program originally introduced in 2003 by asking a much ignored question in the industry:  “How has competitive bidding changed your business and how do you plan to cope with the increase in affected zip codes in round 2 when it takes effect in 2013?”  Keith Glatzer predicts that the competitive bidding program will be unsuccessful and would like to see it put to an end soon as bid winners do not have the resources to satisfy client demand.  He went on to say that the program does not leave bid winners with large enough margins to operate a business that satisfies such a deficit.

The panel proceeded to discuss the current state of the medicare industry and to predict the future of how lead generation in the industry will evolve.  Panellists agreed that although the market is reaching a saturation point, increased government pressure on compliance will start to thin out competitors as more companies fail to demonstrate ethical behaviour by reselling data and overlooking compliance guidelines.  Furthermore, the panel agreed that a lead generation company’s success with DMEs relies greatly on the ability to call back leads as promptly as possible and that all leads should be unique to the buyer, 100% compliant and opt-in.

Prizm Media, a lead generation company with over ten years of experience in the Healthcare vertical, is recommended regularly for its integrity, offering unique, opt-in only leads that are compliant with Medicare guidelines, HIPAA and the National Do Not Call List.  “One of the reasons our leads convert at such a high rate is because we call all leads back within one to five seconds once the lead is received,” – Caitlin Gillespie, Accounts Manager, Prizm Media.

With its vision in line with the panel’s view of success in the lead generation industry, Prizm Media has the right qualifications and business experience to be a strong player with DMEs and other businesses in the Healthcare vertical.
