Seton Hall Appoints NJ CPA Firm Partner Nick Magone to Accounting Advisory Board

March 10, 2011 - PRLog -- NJ CPA Nick Magone, managing partner of NJ accounting firm Magone & Company (http://magonecpas.com/), has been appointed to the Accounting Advisory Board for the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.

According to SHU’s William S. Attardi, the board’s mission is to enhance the academic experiences of students in accounting, and is composed primarily of Seton Hall alumni who have moved on to successful careers in the field. Its functions include advising on curriculum that will best prepare students for careers in accounting and related industries, helping to attract high-caliber students to the program, and to expose them to the full array of career options available.

Magone, a Seton Hall alumnus, volunteers his time and professional expertise to the university on a regular basis. In addition to the new board appointment, he currently sits on the university’s Presidential Advisory Committee.

Says Magone, “It’s a terrific opportunity to contribute to the growth of the university and the Stillman School, and to give today’s accounting students access to the more practical aspects of the accounting profession.”
