Deco Distilling announces new bold, coffee rum

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- March 9, 2011 – Portland, OR – Deco Distilling, a local rum distillery, announces their newest product line addition, Deco Coffee Rum.

The relatively new Portland, Oregon distillery uses Portland-roasted Arabica beans, enriching this rum with full-bodied flavor and aroma. An eagerly awaited and carefully developed sibling to Deco Ginger Rum, Deco Coffee Rum remains at a standard 80 proof yet boasts a smooth and rich coffee taste, all without the sweetness of a liqueur.

“As vanguards, we take our passion and our products very seriously,” says co-founder, Lenny Gotter. “This isn’t like any other coffee spirit. You can count on that!”

Now members of Portland’s Distillery Row, owners Lenny Gotter and Bill Adams started Deco Distillery in 2008 from the ground-up, developing the company mission and recipes around their passion for distilled spirits. Deco Rums can now be found in a majority of Oregon liquor stores and at various bars and fine restaurants in the Portland area.

A birth-date celebration will be held on March 22, 2011 at 7pm at Thatch Tiki Bar on 27th and Broadway in Portland.
