The Pittsboro Center for Natural Medicine Holds Tuesday Night Sliding-Scale Health Clinic

March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Pittsboro, North Carolina - The Pittsboro Center for Natural Medicine is home to the Rainbow Tree Community Clinic which offers affordable healthcare through a sliding-scale approach.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Tuesday night, the health clinic offers the services of acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, reflexology and  Reiki on a walk-in basis. Other modalities are rotated. Cathy Edwards' regular counseling practice is with individuals, adults and teens, couples and families. Her counseling helps people with their relationships with others and with themselves. She helps people re-frame unwanted patterns, heal emotional wounds and recover from trauma.

Edwards also offers teaches, coaches and leads workshops on techniques for relaxation, stress management, managing anxiety and depression, as well as how to better your life through personal development.

In her massage and bodywork appointments, Cathy Edwards' compassionate and skilled hands  facilitate relaxation, slowing down, and relief from acute or chronic discomfort through a variety of methods. She's an artist whose work is displayed at the Joyful Jewel, a store featuring local original art and jewelry on Hillsborough Street in downtown Pittsboro.
