March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Ted Williams, the formerly homeless, now famous voice over talent, is reportedly shopping a new reality TV program, “Second Chances At Life.”

A great voice and the right support system have definitely helped to propel Mr. Williams into a new career and new lease on life.  The good news is that recording voice-overs offers a second chance at a new career for others as well.

Bill DeWees, former VP of business strategies for instructional design firm, Visum, was notified in 2007 that his job was being reduced to part time, due to the negative effects of the economy on business.  Mr. DeWees promptly launched into a long time dream of recording voice-overs.  Within a year, he had nearly doubled his previous income and today has a thriving voice over business recording radio/TV commercials, audio books, narrations, and telephony work.  His credits read like a list of “Who’s Who In Business” and include the likes of Microsoft, American Express, National Geographic, Purina, Lowe’s, Sears, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Simon & Schuster, and Exxon Mobil.

In an effort to assist others in their “second chance,” DeWees and info marketing expert Fred Gleeck, have launched www.Voice-Over-Training.org.  The mission of the new voice over training and coaching business is to equip and empower aspiring voice actors to establish and grow their own successful voice over business.

DeWees’ background in instructional design and education (he’s also a former college professor) combine to provide the right formula to assist others in pursuing their voice over dreams.

“Many people have a strong desire to use their voice in a new career but just don’t know where to begin,” says DeWees.  “I figure with my experience behind the microphone, as well as in business and education,” I can direct them down the path from where they are to where they want to go.
