L.A. Recording School Students Win Alphasonik Car Audio

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Alphasonik car audio is proud to announce the winners of SESSIONS, an event held at The Los Angeles Recording School on Monday, February 21, 2011. This was Alphasonik’s second time sponsoring the highly-anticipated listening event which showcases the musical talents of students at the famed Los Angeles Recording School.

At SESSIONS, current students have the chance to play and perform their work in front of other peers and get feedback from industry professionals. The special guest judges are well-known in the music world and range from rappers, producers, and industry executives.

Students are judged on various criteria by the panel offering valuable insight and critique to students’ samples of songs and live performances.

All of the top winners received prizes from Alphasonik car audio.

Category #1: Beat Makers
Winner- Frankin Criner for “Future is Now”

Category #2: Beat with Lyrics
Winner- Cody Hahn for “The Getaway”

Category #3: Beats with Lyrical Content and Performance
Winner- Nico White for “Fatal Attraction”

Special considerations and Alphasonik prizes were also awarded to Jairo Parada for his
song and performance of “You Make Me So High” and judges’ favorite was Major James for his performance.

In the crowd listening to the students was Alphasonik’s own celebrity ambassador and rap artist, Minnesota Fats who was in town for the NBA All-Star Game.

“These kids at the recording school are extremely talented and hopefully one day they’ll be hearing their music playing through Alphasonik speakers!” said MN Fats.
