Shear Beam Load Cells from LCM Systems – Ideal for Weighing Applications

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- The versatile SBL-2 range of shear beam load cells from LCM Systems has been designed for use in a wide variety of weighing applications from vessel weighing to floor scales to pallet trucks. Manufactured in nickel-plated alloy steel and with a rated load from 250 – 2000kg, installation is also enhanced by the number of mounting options available. These include assemblies for platform foot or vessel mounting, as well as shock mounts.

Environmentally sealed to IP67, the SBL-2 load cells can be used in harsh and rugged conditions, where design engineers can be assured that their accuracy will not be compromised. Supplied on their own or together with LCM instrumentation for a complete system, all sensors are backed by comprehensive engineering support and a team of in-house engineers who can advise on the best shear beam load cells for individual applications.

LCM Systems also supply a range of beam load cells constructed in fully welded stainless steel. Like the SBL-2 range, these load cells have been specifically designed for weighing applications and they can also be used in installations where force measurement is a requirement. With a rated load ranging from 5kg to 500kg, the BBL-1 load cells are also available with a variety of mounting options, depending on customer requirements.  Typical applications for these products include hanging scales, tensile test machines and dynamometers.
