March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Beautiful, articulate, with razor-sharp intellect, Chubby Girl Records CEO Sherrie Keys is staking claim that her business formula is recession - proof.  The plus-size singer and fashionista is in early stages of launching a clothing line targeting the plus-size consumer.

Keys founded the label on the belief that plus-size women deserve fashion equality and that the demographic has strong growth potential in an otherwise stagnant retail market.

"My fashion label was created to add sizzle and excitement to plus-size cl othing." Keys states. "I believe women of all sizes should be celebrated and that happiness does not begin or end with a certain size."

Some might think that being a plus-size diva in an image-conscious city like Los Angeles might prove challenging. The beautiful, vivacious plus-size diva disagreees. She believes that Los Angeles is the perfect city for a plus-size fashion revolution. "Los Angeles is a city for big dreamers. You can't get any bigger than plus-size."

Keys states that initial test marketing will be done in direct to consumer channels with a full  retail push scheduled for late 2011.
