March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- 1st Go-Round Entertainment and DeWayne Spaw have released the first single, and music video, from DeWayne’s upcoming CD, Starting Today. The single which is also titled “Starting Today”, was released to country radio on February 7, 2011 with the music video release set for February 9, 2011 at 12:00 noon CST.
The music video for “Starting Today” was produced on location during four days of shooting in Kissimmee, Florida and Flagler Beach, Florida. Featured actors in the video are Wendy Keeling of Nashville, TN, Christy and Matt Walter of St Cloud, FL, and Lee Drake of Kissimmee, FL. "The videos story line is based on three separate characters, who are faced with a life problem, and end up overcoming their trials and starting new," says DeWayne. "I think most of us can remember a time in our lives when we had to start over, and told ourselves starting today, I'm gonna start my whole life over." The video was conceived, directed, and photographed by DeWayne’s long time collaborator and cinematographer, Ron Coons of Nashville, Tennessee. “We decided that telling three different stories within his performances would keep the video fresh and interesting. It gave me the opportunity to showcase DeWayne in all these beautiful locations, while still being true to the different characters stories”, says Coons. The video has been submitted to a number of country music video channels including GAC, TCN, and CMC and can also be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/ Starting Today was written by Ed Williams of Dallas, Texas and was published by EJW Music (BMI) and will be included as one of the eleven songs on the Starting Today CD to be released April 1, 2011.
