Because each event venue is unique, like the Tribeca Rooftop with its high ceilings, Expressway Music is able to work with the acoustics of different rooms and strategically set up the sound system so the extra high ceilings don’t “swallow” the sound.
At the Harold Pratt Mansion on Park Avenue, each party or event can sometimes utilize three different, distinct rooms. Having worked there many times, the Expressway Music DJs know exactly what to bring and, more importantly, where to set up the equipment so the music is distributed evenly throughout the space.
The DJs are accustomed to setting up the Bose sound systems and are able to optimize the sound in other unique spaces. The discreet, unobtrusive equipment blends in with the art deco design that doesn’t take up much space and is a perfect match for venues such as the Plaza Athanee, the Carlyle Hotel, and the Angel Orensanz Center.
Another challenge often posed to Expressway Music is using the venue’s existing sound equipment. At The Foundry in Long Island City, The DJs know what type of equipment to bring and what the exact settings are.
Clients often comment on the peace of mind they feel with Expressway Music because they have already performed previously at their event space and that the logistics and sound will be in the best of hands.
