Airplanista Magazine now easily available to iPad readers

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 8, 2011 - With the March, 2011 issue of Airplanista Magazine (http://airplanista.com) we have launched our functionality to allow readers who use Apple’s iPad tablet computers to easily read the magazine in a new app developed and hosted by Magcloud.

"We are an all-digital magazine," said Airplanista Editor and private pilot Dan Pimentel, "and the world of digital publishing is changing rapidly every day right now. As Apple’s iPad continues to gain  market share and popularity, we are excited to be offering the magazine as a free download inside the free Magcloud app. As our magazine evolves, we will eventually also offer a solution for Android users. For now however, those users can still download the PDFs on our site for offline consumption."

Users of iPads can go to airplanista.com’s mobile page and click the link to get the free Magcloud app in iTunes. Once they install the app, a quick search brings up all available issues of the magazine for quick and easy download. “Feedback from iPad users who are reading Airplanista Magazine on their iPads is that it is a rich, very visual experience,” said Pimentel.

Airplanista Magazine is an all-digital new media magazine published on the first of each month, online at http://airplanista.com. Each new online issue features aviation stories, aviation commentary, and stunning aviation photography. The target audience is a combination of general aviation pilots, aircraft owners, professional pilots and those in aviation business and industry. Viewing the magazine is free and requires no sign-up or registration, however there is an optional email notification list established to alert readers when each new issue publishes.
