PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 8, 2011 - Chattanooga, TN– James E. White, MD, FACS has become the latest board certified surgeon to offer the innovative QuickLift procedure at Advanced Surgical Concepts, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Dr. James E. White, is board certified by American Board of Surgery; he is a full fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery; a full fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgery, as denoted by the FACS after his name; and he is a Diplomat with the American Board of Phlebology.

Dr. White has completed extensive training with Dominic Brandy, MD in the QuickLift® mini facelift procedure and other facial plastic surgery procedures. Dr. White offers office surgery based facial procedures including liquid face lift, laser assisted facelifts, fat transfer, eye and brow lifts. As a cosmetic surgeon and anti aging specialist, Dr White specializes in artistic cosmetic surgery, natural enhancements with minimal downtime and minimal scarring using some of the latest technologies. Not limited to facial procedures, he is also pleased to offer body sculpting, Ticklelipo, laser lipo procedures, advanced treatments for varicose veins, mini-tummy tucks, liposuction and mommy makeovers. He wants all of his Chattanooga, TN and Cleveland, TN surgery patients to benefit from his extensive surgical experience. Of note, recently Dr. White has been voted as a finalist in the "2010 Best of the Best Chattanooga Cosmetic Surgeon" by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

QuickLift is a revolutionary procedure that tightens sagging skin in a minimally invasive way and offers significant improvements immediately after. The procedure, developed by Dr. Dominic Brandy of The Skin Center Medical Spa in Pittsburgh, Pa., can be completed with local anesthesia in one to two hours without the significant recovery and downtime required by a traditional facelift.

"In my years as a cosmetic surgeon, I have not seen a minimally invasive facial procedure that works this well. Many patients look almost 10 years younger following the procedure," said Dr. James E. White.

"This procedure offers great results, and I am sure our patients will be thrilled about the prospect of staying ahead of the aging process," said Dr. White.

After completing his undergraduate work in Biology at the University of Georgia, Dr. White went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed a General surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and has been active in office based cosmetic surgery procedures for the last 7 years, serving as the Medical Director of Advanced Surgical Concepts. His research has been published in several surgical journals, and he has given numerous lectures and presentations during his medical career. Voted teaching resident of the year, Dr. White is currently teaching surgical fellows in conjunction with Dr. Carey Nease as a Cosmetic Fellowship instructor with Southern Surgical Arts of Chattanooga, TN.

As a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. White has been eager to share his expertise in surgery with less fortunate people of third world countries. He and his family have been able to make medical/surgical mission trips to Mexico and Haiti over the last 4 years. During that time, he has been able to participate in medical missions with the International Medical Assistance Organization. Dr. White is a 14 year veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve completing his tour as a Lt. Colonial. He has lived with his wife Casi in Cleveland, Tennessee since 1998. He and Casi have two sons, Cole and Carson.

About QuickLift®

The QuickLift®, developed by Dominic Brandy, MD and performed by a number of doctors personally trained by him, is an improved version of the S-Lift, which has been performed since the late 1990s with limited results. The QuickLift provides an overall lower- to mid- facelift and improves the appearance of the upper neck, offering significant age-diminishing effects with minimal downtime and lasting results. The QuickLift is designed for men and women between the ages of 40 and 65+ who want to stay ahead of the aging process. At these ages, most individuals lose elasticity in their skin and develop varying degrees of looseness along the jaw line and beneath the chin. Unlike procedures with similar names and most mini facelifts that tighten only skin, the QuickLift permanently suspends the underlying structures of the lower face (SMAS) offering men and women the benefit of a more youthful appearance for years to come. Although the QuickLift can produce significant aesthetic improvement for most people, after any facial procedure the normal aging process resumes. Lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, sun exposure, and heredity all play a part in determining how long the desired result will last.
