Quality Maintenance & Repair Service to Participate in the 2011 March for Babies Charity Walk

March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- The President & CEO of Quality Maintenance & Repair Service, Inc announced today that the company will participate in the 2011 March for Babies charity walk, a major fundraising event for the March of Dimes.

Sarah Whetstone, the company’s President and CEO, commented earlier today that, “The March of Dimes truly impacts the heart of the community. Every baby deserves the best chance at a healthy start to life. We, as a company want to support the research and vital service that the March of Dimes provides not only to our community but globally,”

The March of Dimes hosts several charity walk events throughout the year, all across the county. These three mile walk events are generally the most significant sources of fundraising for the non-profit.  The 2011 walk will take place on Saturday, May 7th at the Northbank Riverwalk in Downtown Jacksonville.

Quality Maintenance & Repair Service, Inc has formed a company walk team and is well on its way to meeting  its fundraising goals. The company plans to have specially designed t-shirts for their walk team and will make the walk a part of a larger company team building activity.
