Kors Engineering Partners with Alter Enterprise to Create Energy Saving Devices

Leveraging Tridium Niagara AX, a software framework and development environment, Kors Engineering created an interconnect to enable energy monitoring devices to communicate. Alter Enterprises designs how the devices will monitor the facility systems and reduce energy consumption.

With large facilities often incurring $10-12,000 per month in propane costs, primarily for heating water, Alter Enterprises is adept at proposing energy-saving remedies which often achieve a return on investment (ROI) within six months of implementation. This new device not only monitors energy usage in real-time, but also sends alerts when results exceed predetermined parameters, allowing companies to react immediately to costly, unforeseen energy usage.
