The Mardi Gras event is held annually in Kingwood, and served as a great venue for Wags to Whiskers to adopt out some of their animals and also raise some badly needed funds to help them cover the costs that they incur. They currently have a building they are using as one shelter, and are looking to acquire another building to provide an additional shelter for the animals whose lives would otherwise come to end if it weren't for rescue organizations like Wags to Whiskers of Texas.
Wags to Whiskers of Texas specializes in rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out puppies, kittens and cats. They are also focused on providing education to the public on responsible pet ownership. Right now they can use all of the assistance they can get to help them get the building for this extra shelter. If you know of a business or person that might have a portable building that can be donated to help them out, please contact Teri Kropik at 832-527-9370, or by e-mail at info@WagsToWhiskersTX.com. For more information on their Organization, please visit their website at www.WagsToWhiskersTX.com. Donations can also be made through their website.
Wags to Whiskers of Texas would like to thank the Town Center Park Association for the prime location they received this year at the Mardi Gras Festival. "It was a GREAT event, and we were able to not only adopt out our pets to some WONDERFUL families, but we also raised some funds for our Cause!", says Teri Kropik, Founder of Wags to Whiskers of Texas. This may have been Wags to Whiskers first Mardi Gras, but it sure won't be their last!
