Jack Hrad of Troon Golf Named GM of Brynwood Golf & Country Club

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- ARMONK, NY  – Troon Golf, the management company for Brynwood Golf & Country Club, has announced the appointment of Jack Hrad as General Manager of the club.

Mr. Hrad, who joined Troon Golf in 2001, brings to Brynwood more than three decades of experience managing golf resort communities around the world. Most recently, he was general manager of Pearl Valley Golf Estates in Cape Winelands, South Africa, host to the South Africa Open for 2007, 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Hrad served as GM for The Club at St. James Plantation in Southport, North Carolina where he was named Troon Golf GM of the Year 2006. He also served as general manager for The Club at Savannah Harbor, a Westin Resort golf community in Savannah, Georgia managed by Troon.  

In addition to his many years of experience with Troon Golf, Mr. Hrad has also held executive and GM positions with Sedona Clubs & Resorts International in Singapore and Indonesia as well as ClubCorp International country clubs in the U.S., China and Indonesia.

Mr. Hrad, who holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Dallas, is a regular guest speaker at golf industry and management conferences in the U.S. and Asia. He is presently residing in Greenwich, CT.
