March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- CompuLaw LLC, the publisher of award-winning CompuLaw Vision calendar/docket matter management software with built-in court rules databases, today announced its PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) Electronic Case Filing Integration (“ECFI”), the first offering announced from its suite of CompuLaw court integration products, CompuLaw CourtConnectTM.  The CompuLaw CourtConnect integration products will automate the transfer of information between courts, firms and CompuLaw’s suite of products.

CompuLaw CourtConnect ECFI automates the process of entering information from PACER’s Notice of Electronic Filing (NEF) emails by analyzing and automatically parsing the appropriate NEF information. EFCI allows CompuLaw users to import NEF emails directly through a designated firm mailbox, and easily download the underlying document(s) referenced in the NEF email to a specified location on your network. The NEF information automatically flows through to CompuLaw’s Web PortalTM application, Microsoft Outlook®, emails, reports and other options.

The CompuLaw CourtConnect ECFI integration features and functions include:

Flexible configuration: ECFI is flexible and highly customizable with a variety of configuration options.  The ECFI integration allows for multiple mailboxes and multiple folders within each mailbox to check for NEF emails.

Workflow enhancements: With the ECFI integration, users easily verify and release imported NEF messages to automatically create new calendar events.

Additional features: ECFI flexible filter options allow users to easily locate specific NEF emails or specific types of NEF emails for viewing or importing, to create multiple calendar events, and to edit existing events based on NEF emails.

“CompuLaw’s PACER integration has been very well received by our clients.  ECFI provides users with time savings, increased flexibility and control over importing and managing PACER e-filing emails,” stated David J. Kalmick, CompuLaw’s President and CEO. “ECFI is just the first step in our CompuLaw CourtConnect initiative to help our clients simplify their daily workflow.  We introduced our court rules databases and automated docket systems over two decades ago to simplify the calendaring process and help legal professionals stay on task and avoid costly mistakes. Our PACER integration is a further example of staying true to our user commitment.”
