Chamber of Commerce Unveils New Eco-friendly Magazine Tailored to San Diego Small Business

March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO-The San Diego South Chamber of Commerce unveiled COLUMN Magazine at its March First Thursdays event. COLUMN is the official 'newsletter' of the chamber, offering a review of chamber affairs, business, and culture. Filled with news, business tips, and health & fashion advice, the eco-friendly e-magazine is designed for the San Diego businessperson and entrepreneur.

Since its soft release, the Chamber reports that magazine content is being shared and distributed at a remarkable rate to every corner of the world. Largely popular are the magazine's Business and Fashion sections.

COLUMN Magazine does not simply challenge traditional, less than eye-catching or uninformative newsletters that are easily discarded, it meets the challenge of mobility in the digital age. The e-magazine is  iPad, tablet, smart phone ready, and can be taken and read anywhere on the go.

Holding true to the San Diego South Chamber of Commerce's commitment to eco-friendly chamber operational solutions, it includes a short pledge on the inside of its magazine: "COLUMN is  100% committed to preserving our earth’s precious resources and reducing carbon emissions.We’re not kidding. We would feel guilty printing this thing. Just save the mag in your ebook library on your iPad or your iWhatever. Just, don’t click print..."

Due to popular demand, the Chamber intends to expand and grow the magazine. Chamber staff added: "Being a successful small businessperson is a lifestyle. The goal of our magazine is to inform and assist in developing well rounded businesspersons in order to achieve optimal success and growth...both in business and as an individual."
