Environment psychologists study the relationship between people and their physical surroundings-including the effects of street noise, heat, and population density. Many psychologists also work in the legal system consulting with attorneys and judges, testifying in court, teaching law schools, and researching such issues as jury selection and decision making, eyewitness identifications, and the insanity defense.
