First batch of English building workers leave for RussiaConstruction update M.O.M Recruitment part of the Media one Marketing group announce
By: Geoffrey Stuart Director of UK recruitment Jonathon Rodgers explains “You would think in the current climate it would be easy to find quality construction staff but despite a number of advertising campaigns we are still short on our first batch” Rodgers goes on to say. “Some construction workers are worried about security added to the fact that they will spend long periods away from their families our first batch was supposed to be eighty but we managed just fifty two the security issue is not a problem I feel safer there than walking down Camden high street on a Saturday night” When asked about the total number required over the coming months Rodgers was quoted to say.”We are looking now for one hundred and fifty to leave around the middle to the end of May and two hundred and fifty around the end of august I believe we will reach our targets and supply the correct number required the only problem arises when the successful candidates have to fund their Visa and essential documentations cost some simply have not got the funds to do this. As a recruiter we have decided to fund fifty percent though and have an inside fast track process, otherwise because of the backlog in applications it would take months” After looking at the planned projects displayed on the wall of Rodgers office in Shoreditch London it would seem that a vast number of recruitments will be taking place over the coming months. # # # M.
