Brides Need to Plan In Advance for Cosmetic Procedures
More than $72 million a year is spent on weddings -- gowns, rings, cakes, invitations and flowers. What is shocking is that each year a larger portion of that $72 million is spent on cosmetic surgery -- breast augmentation, liposuction, Botox, Collagen and other injectables and fillers. Sacramento cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jagdev Heir estimates that the brides and their bridal parties that he sees spend anywhere from $300 to $6,000 getting ready for that special day.
Calendar in Plenty of Time
Dr. Heir advises brides to plan ahead which cosmetic procedures they want done and find out how far in advance of the wedding date to schedule them. Four to six months before that special day is recommended for many surgical procedures like breast augmentation, chemical peels and tummy tucks. Four to six weeks is needed for many non-invasive procedures such as Botox, laser body contouring, and more.
Brides Already Booking Wedding Party Appointments
Summer brides who haven't booked appointments need to move fast. Brides are already booking appointments for breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty (nose re-shaping) and tummy tucks. They are scheduling non-invasive procedures like Botox, Collagen, lip augmentation, Latisse and microdermabrasion six weeks prior to their big day.
