Lila Nikole Swimwear Collection showcasing in BET’s Rip The Runway 2011 in late February at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
Participating for a third time, former designer of Amaya Swimwear, now The Lila Nikole Collection, will be featured in this year’s BET’s Rip The Runway unveiling a new, funkier, more upscale collection for 2011.  This collection, yet to be named, is carnival inspired and looks to be one of the hottest yet; complete with bright pops of color accented with sequins, metallic, lace and shimmer.  All participating models displaying the new collection from Lila Nikole will also be wearing jewelry provided by Charles Albert and his new Spring 2011 Collection.

The Event
BET’s Rip The Runway is a high energy fusion of live music and hot fashion showcasing the hottest designers, models, and musicians.  The event was taped Saturday, February 26th 2011 and premieres on BET Monday, March 21st 2011 at 10pm Eastern.
This year the event is hosted by actor and model Mehcad Brooks, most recently scene on HBO’s True Blood, and currently the face and body of Calvin Klein X underwear campaign, and supermodel Selita Ebanks best known for her time spent as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, and the recent role as a Phoenix in Kanye West’s artistic film Runaway.
Past hosts have included a roster of Eva Pigford & Fonzworth Bentley, LL Cool J & Gabrielle Union, Chris Brown & Ciara, Nelly & Laura London with Diddy as Master of Ceremonies, Joy Bryant & Derek Luke, and Nicki Minaj and Pooch Hall.
