Farrell’s To Host A Barbie Birthday Bash

March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- To celebrate Barbie’s 52nd birthday on March 9, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour is going to throw America’s favorite doll a Birthday party like only Farrell’s can.  At 4pm we will create a special Barbie inspired Farrell’s Famous 30-scoop ice cream Zoo to run around the restaurant complete with sparklers and the guest of honor herself sitting atop. Then the entire restaurant will sing a uniquely created happy birthday song, we will dish up the Zoo for guests to enjoy for free and birthday presents will be given out to some of our guests who brought in their Barbie.

For guests that can’t make it to the 4:00pm main birthday event, Farrell’s will be celebrating all day by giving away birthday sundae’s to all guests that bring in their favorite Barbie doll and purchase an entrée and drink. Barbie’s birthday sundae is fashioned from one scoop of strawberry ice cream, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, party sprinkles and a cherry on top.

“Barbie is an original piece of Americana and takes all of us back (yes, even you big brothers) to the fond memories of our childhood, just like Farrell’s.” says Michael Fleming, CEO, Parlour Enterprises, Inc.  “This was a great opportunity to celebrate an American icon, but even more so, it was just a great excuse to have a lot of fun.”

Celebrations will be happening at Farrell’s locations in The Shops at Mission Viejo (779 Shops Blvd. Mission Viejo, CA 92691) and Mountasia Family Fun Center in Santa Clarita (21516 Golden Triangle Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91350) during business hours (11am–9:30pm) on Wednesday, March 9th.
