Pankaj Kumar, an avid cricket enthusiast, hailing from Biawar in Rajasthan was the first lucky winner to watch the ICC World Cup 2011 as a Castrol World Cup ka Hero.  

Pankaj Kumar, a hard core Castrol loyalist became eligible for participation in the Castrol World cup ka Hero promotion when he bought a pack of Castrol CRB Turbo and won the lucky draw to see the Australia v/s Zimbabwe match in Ahmedabad on 21 Feb 2011.  

Talking about his Castrol World Cup ka Hero experience which saw him watching the match from a specially fabricated couch in a vantage position, Pankaj said, “I have never been to a cricket stadium to watch a live game. It was great to see the game from such a fantastic position and in such great comfort. I was treated like a real hero – being flown in to Ahmedabad and being put up in a really nice hotel and driven in a luxury car to the stadium where I was escorted straight to my couch and treated like royalty right through the match. I had a really great time and this experience will remain etched in my memory forever.”

Pankaj was selected from almost 50,000 participants who have registered for the Castrol World up ka Hero promotion so far.
