PRLog - March 4, 2011 - BERLIN, Germany -- “To me it’s like a love story. There are so many little things that make South Africa special. I am in love with Cape Town, I am in love with the country, I am in love with the people.” Guests of Welcome Beyond now have the great opportunity to experience the variety South Africa has to offer by visiting all three new additions to our selection of unique properties.
Jaci’s Lodges is located in the Madikwe Game Reserve – perfect for viewing the Big 10, as lodge manager Jan explains. Jaci’s Lodges is also a great place to take children – not just because of the tree houses. “They just soak up the environment and are very close to nature. You don’t need video games or television. The bush is the best video game in the world.”
Cheetah Plains in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve at the edge of Kruger National Park on the other hand is more of a romantic place to experience the bush. Jan: “You have a fire at night and sit around with a nice glass of wine... I’m a lot more romantic in the bush because the setting is right and the ambience is right — it’s a feeling that you’re in a perfect place.”
As many of the guests are coming through Cape Town, the owners recently had the great opportunity to buy one of the most historic hotels of Cape Town. The Grand Daddy is located in the heart of the city and probably most famous for its Airstream trailers on the rooftop. “From the trailer park at the top all the way down it’s just got a vibe, it’s got a feel. It’s got style and a touch of class, but essentially it’s a fun hotel.”

About Welcome Beyond:
WelcomeBeyond.com is a website promoting the most beautiful and unique vacation homes & boutique hotels worldwide.
We hand-pick places that we feel are truly original. Many reflect their owners’ passion for distinctive architecture and design. Some border on quirky (and may have crossed over the line). Several are quite posh. And a few are downright rustic. But what all of our properties have in common is that they’re authentic — be it a tree house, a yurt, an igloo, a cottage, a beach house or a castle. Each is singular, memorable and definitely worth writing home about.
