To celebrate this memorable day, Heritage Institute of Technology, Department of Biotechnology, has organized a seminar which was inaugarated by Professor Siddhartha Roy, the Director, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata. Professor Roy, after the grand inaugaration of the event, gave a wonderful inspiring speech to encourage all the students and faculty members who want to make their career in the research and development contributing to the Indian Economy to a larger extent. Professor Roy, started his speech giving an emphasize on the topic " Chemistry of Life" which he delivered in a conference in India. Also he said that India is a wonderful place which creates huge amount of scientists as the people in India are highly educated and bears extensive source of Knowledge creating centres of excellences from the past till the present scenario. He also said that Heritage Institute of Technology is providing a world class infrastructural facility to the students and their mentors with a hygenic green environment to excel in the field of research and development and motivating the students to make it a career.
Apart from this, the seminar was also contributed by Professor N.C Mandal of Bose Institute , Joint Director, Professor D.C. Ray, Executive Director of the trust, Mr. Probir Roy and CEO of the trust Shri Pradip Agarwal. Apart from this, in this memorable day, the newsletter of Department of Biotechnology of Heritage was being launched in the presence of Professor. S. Roy who congratulated all the contributors of the newsletter.
More than 100 delegates attended the seminar and it was a wonderful event in the histroy of Heritage Group of Institutions.
