GHF Foundation to Disburse Grants Through its Combat Relief Project

The Grant Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) transitions from a classic veterans’ service organization to a grant-making foundation with revised branding, a new website and an enhanced mission.

March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- The GHF is a young and evolving organization that began with one principal project: Combat Relief.  Combat Relief, once a direct service provider, has altered its primary method of supporting American service members, veterans, their families and communities.  Effective immediately, Combat Relief’s primary mission will be to support its constituency by disbursing grants to other humanitarian organizations whose goals align with its own.  Combat Relief continues to raise awareness and improve the lives of service members, veterans and their families.  The change in focus is fully articulated on the foundation’s new website and through the foundation’s branding.
“It is a very exciting time for GHF and Combat Relief,” explained Elena Grant, GHF president.  “We have worked with the public relations firm Gibraltar & Associates of Washington, D.C. to develop a more universal branding scheme and Green Bird Media to introduce our new website. Both have been well received across various online media, including Facebook and Twitter.   Combat Relief is in an intensive research phase, seeking out low-profile organizations providing critical humanitarian services to troops, veterans, their families and communities.  These are the organizations qualified to receive our initial grants.”
The new website can be found at http://grantfound.org and the new branding is streamlined through all of the organization’s on and offline presences.
