Communities In Schools of Atlanta Receive Donation of Neckties from Tiecoon.com

March 3, 2011 - PRLog -- San Diego, California – March 3, 2011 – The Communities In Schools of Atlanta organization recently reached out to national sale priced neckwear retailer Tiecoon.com for free neckties. Tiecoon.com reached back.

Nicole Corley, program coordinator for Communities In Schools of Atlanta, contacted Tiecoon.com requesting ties for students at Dunbar Elementary School and throughout the school system. Soon after the request, Communities In Schools of Atlanta was awarded an assortment of colors and patterns of quality neckties to give to the students.

This gift of free ties will also assist members of the TOP Notch (Triumph is Our Priority) organization. TOP Notch is a group that offers guidance to young men at the schools. Many young men in the district come from economically disadvantaged families with little disposable income. TOP Notch is there to provide support.

The ties were given by Tiecoon.com as a part of their efforts to encourage education, community involvement, and teamwork; while also promoting the character traits of integrity, responsibility, empowerment, and positive self-esteem.

“We want to help all the children and youth that we possibly can. Helping out students with these ties makes everybody feel good,” says company President Jesse Pederson.
