Follow on Google News | March microchipping for dogsWood Green Animal Shelters is holding a low cost microchipping event for dogs this weekend.
By: Tara Dundon The Charity will be at The Pet Shop in Station Road, March on Saturday (March 5th) from 10am to 3pm. For a minimum donation of £5, pet owners can have their dogs microchipped. Advice on neutering, health and diet will also be available. Outreach officer Hayley Hurley said: “Microchipping is the only way to permanently identify a dog should he be lost or stolen. Only 10 per cent of the stray dogs that come into Wood Green are reclaimed. This number would be significantly increased if the dogs were microchipped.” Everyone who has their dog chipped will receive a goody bagh. No appointment is needed. For further information call Wood Green on 0844 248 8181. End
