Premium Tall Electric Poultry Netting.

Following the increased incidents of fox attacks and the attendant depredations to the poultry industry , the net is designed to maximise the protection offered to free range poultry production and the amenity poultry market through the use of electrified netting.
The net has several advantages over standard netting being 1.2m (4 ft) tall, 50m (55 yards)long and manufactured with good conducting electrical materials to increase the capacity to carry the vital current that does the necessary work plus the top and bottom wires are re-enforced for added strength to assist in maintaining a tight and rigid net. The close weave (5 x 7.5cm) of the Electric net is based on the standard Poultry net so the security of the poultry is maintained.
The net is supplied in an attractive green mesh that has been incredibly popular for years with 14 posts and the necessary connections.
This lightweight electric poultry netting  may be rapidly dismantled, bundled up and re-erected in another area. It is effective at allowing poultry access to specific grazing areas so allowing rested areas to re-grow, re- vitalise, as well as excluding a fox. An adequately designed and constructed electric net works by the combination of a weak physical barrier (the fence) and a very strong psychological imprint (the 6000v sting) created in the mind of the animal. An energiser attached to the fence wires produces a short but painful sting when touched by the animal, similar to a sharp slap. The low amperage (35-150mA) and short duration (about 1/300th. of a second) results in a sharp but safe sting that then creates a psychological barrier that the animal associates with the fence and discourages it from approaching again.
