March 2, 2011 - PRLog -- As popularity of silver coins as investments skyrocket all around the world, some large mints have started to ration the number of silver coins available to the public. The Royal Canadian Mint and the Austrian Mint have recently taken measures to ration silver coins at the same time the United States Mint has hit record sales levels for the American Eagle silver coin.

In fact, the United States Mint has sold over eight million American Eagle silver coins so far this year. According to mint statistics, since the coin started minting in 1986, there have been 14 years where the annual production of the coin did not hit eight million coins. More than 900,000 ounces of silver American Eagles were sold last week alone.

Global Gold Group is now offering silver coins to investors including American Eagle silver coins as well as collectible Peace Dollars and Morgan Silver Dollars. For more information about investing in gold and silver coins, please contact Global Gold Group at http://www.aglobalcurrency.com.
