Each quarter, the Hilton Naples Hotel will feature a photographer who has done a remarkable job working in the Naples community. Whether the featured photographer has photographed a charity event, a beach wedding, a fundraiser or a corporate meeting, the key is that they demonstrated the talent to capture the experience and relayed that message through their images.

“My thought behind the Featured Photographer program is to highlight local photographers who show creativity and talent with their lense and demonstrate the ability to connect with our clients” says Director of Marketing, Niccole Haschak. “People do business with people they like. I love the idea of promoting our local photographers who have proven that they not only know how to use their camera, they know how to relate to our guests and corporate clients. “
The hotel industry in Naples Florida has many target audiences. Each hotel caters daily to families on vacation, couples looking to get married, corporate meeting planners, business travelers, charity event volunteers and many other demographics. In the past, it was typical to hire a corporate photographer who would schedule a photo shoot at the hotel location. During this shoot the objective was to take a series of pictures that were used for all market segments. In recent years, the internet & social media have changed the way people select their hotels and visual images are a huge part of the selection process.
In today’s marketplace, hotels must create marketing plans that cater to the niche markets. This includes the visual content they choose to display. Stock photos are no longer acceptable to use across the various channels.
