Rider working up a head of steam on time trial
The elevation gain of 533 feet doesn't seem so daunting when taken at a moderate pace but at time trial effort it's a challenge. The overall record of 6:19 is held by pro cyclist Sid Tamberlay; the amateur record is 6:55.
We'll award prizes in four categories: mens, womens, mens 50+ and womens 50+. The prize is a $75 gift certificate from PV Bicycle Center.
The women will kick off at 9:30, the men at 10:00. Meet and sign in at the lookout point by the top of the climb along Trump Golf Course. Both races take place on Sunday March 6.
