Sissy gets vocal with actor and voice-over coach Jean-Marc Berne this Friday night!

March 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Jean-Marc is the president of Berne Media Enterprises - a Spanish creative media consulting and production company - and a busy voice talent, songwriter and Spanish voice over coach, fluent in voicing English, Spanish, French and Haitian Creole.

He is also a Spanish-English audiobook narrator, and the creative consultant for print and radio ads for HUD, the National Fair Housing Alliance, and the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools.  His list of commercial work includes McDonald’s, Western Union, Timberland, McKinsey, Pfizer, VNSNY, Bud Light, HUD, NFHA, National Alliance of Public Charter Schools, Metro Cable and Eclipse Gum to name a few.  He’s narrated the Spanish audio book “Negocios,” from Pulitzer Prize winning author Junot Díaz, the AP Spanish Princeton Review 2009 and “Yaks March On Washington,” the first of a series of English-Spanish educational audio books.

As a songwriter, Jean-Marc has more than 120 original songs in his repertoire, including collaborations with his brother Alex and other artists, such as Donna Gataletto, Elder Ronell Fuller, and Janko Radosavljevic. He’s published his songs “Canta Por Ella” with Bad Boy Latino in 2006, and “Atrévete A Más” in 2010 for the R.Evolución Latina CD. He is the composer of the musical “Manuel Vs. The Statue of Liberty”, a collaboration with playwright Noemí De La Puente, which will be presented in its entirety for the first time on stage at The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre in June 2011.

In the summer of 2010, with the guidance and support of one of his mentors - top voice over trainer and producer Dan Duckworth – Jean-Marc created an acclaimed series of in-person workshops, ‘Power Marketing for the Hispanic Voice Over Actor.’  He continues to offer his workshops at Paul Michael’s The Network Studios in New York City , and also coaches students privately in Spanish Voice Overs.
