Green Construction Materials Workshop Updates Industry Peers on Emerging Trends

With more efficient use of basic materials, lower utilities consumption, enhancement of lifetime, it is clear that going "green" makes more than just ecological sense. Eco construction materials can play a pivotal role in reducing carbon footprint.
 
March 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Nano and Advanced Materials Institute Limited (NAMI), along with Hong Kong Institution of Engineers - Materials Division, and the Department of Physics and Materials Science of City University of Hong Kong, are organizing a full day event, Green Construction Materials Workshop 2011, to address the key developments of environmentally sound construction materials and endeavours for a sustainable built environment. To be held on March 12, 2011 (Saturday) in LT 401, City University of Hong Kong, the workshop aims to expedite the sharing of latest advancements and to update industry peers on new and emerging trends.

Eleven leading scholars from local institutes and industry professionals will present a range of topics that offers great insights in the potentials of green construction materials. The honorable speakers and their presentation titles include:
